CLASSIC BOURBON MANHATTAN
Here is a great Kentucky Recipe for a very tasty Manhattan:
- Chill a martini glass with ice cubes
- Wash the glass with dry vermouth by pouring over ice while chilling
- Add 2.5 ounces of Kentucky Bourbon to your shaker or pint glass
- Add 1/2 ounce of fresh, refrigerated sweet vermouth
- Add a few dashes of spiced bitters
- Add a scoop of ice and stir
- Discard ice from martini glass and strain the mixture into chilled, seasoned glass
- Garnish with a cherry or zest of orange

Catfish filleted and cut
Spices (as available)
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 pound country ham or sausage
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
New potatoes, quartered
1 medium yellow onion, small diced
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 glass of KY wine or 1/2 can KY beer
2 ears corn, cut into 4 pieces
1 lemon, halved
2 tablespoons butter
Salt & Pepper, to taste
